I’ll tell you what, guys. The past several months have been quite disturbing, to say the least. People have been coming out of the woodwork to attack homeschooling…and they’ve been coming from every angle:
- Restrictive bills aimed at homeschooling
- Websites making far-fetched claims linking HSLDA and Christian homeschoolers with Russian collusion
- Anti-homeschooling articles by Fox News featuring Antifa-linked “homeschool activists”
- And now this…Playboy is making claims that Christian homeschoolers are white supremacists breeding domestic terrorism.
Nope. I’m not even kidding.
I’ve noticed that a lot of homeschoolers haven’t been making a big deal about this, while I’m pretty worked up to say the least. They’re saying that they don’t want to bring attention to these articles because they aren’t worth it.
I agree. They’re not worth it, BUT…looking the other way hasn’t gone well for a lot of people, has it? As long as we continue to remain silent about these attacks, we are giving these people an advantage. While we are being careful to to “stay in our lane” these people have been swaying public opinion about our very way of life.
I fear if this apathy on our part continues, homeschooling will quickly become a memory.
Wake up. Speak up. Rise up. Before it’s too late.
Here’s my latest video on the Playboy propaganda if you’re interested.
When you look at the Fox News and Playboy for example the primary source is CRHE (Coalition Response Home Education) and despite what the groups name suggests the group is actually anti-homeschooling. Their idea of responsible homeschooling means highly regulated by the state. They are the ones that would want homes be subject to CPS inspection just because the parents homeschool.

They are just stepping all over the bill of rights and everything America was built on. This is just so sad.

This is incredibly upsetting. It combines so many fallacies, its hard to know where to begin. Those tragic events and the racism and violence behind them are inexcusable, no doubt about it. Yet to conflate this to a wholly different issue, is without excuse. Even as I understand it is the Hegelian dialectic at work, meant to pit, polarize, and put the majority of solid and wholesome home educating families in a bad light and on the defensive. Sheesh. Like many, I have always raised my children to know that racism and white supremacism are wrong, and not Christian at all. Its counter to the ways of Christ, and I believe most in Him feel the same way. Your points Shelly about how they conveniently omit that this goes on far more in the PS than not is so true. They also omit how nearly without exception pharma issues were involved in the school violence all over the country. All six media outlets receive billions in funding from the chemical cartel to let that factor be known. This is why I avoid the news when possible. Its too full of distortions and group think.
