School Choice and Homeschooling: It’s Complicated

School choice is something we’ve been hearing about for quite a while, but it’s only recently that homeschooling has been brought into the mix.

Here are my thoughts on the matter.

Author: Shelly Sangrey

I'm Shelly, a Christ-following, homeschooling Mom of eleven children ( okay, not ALL children. My oldest is 23.) I met my husband right after graduation, and we've been together ever since. Though my life can be hectic at times... okay, ALL the time, I wouldn't change it for anything.

  1. Fantastic, Shelley. The things you mentioned are so important as homeschooling becomes increasingly common – the very real trade off of government support, the incredible resource that libraries are (ours now has a “Maker Space” that includes everything from building and craft supplies to iMacs, green screeens and 3-D printer) and of course, the importance of resourcefulness and collaboration:).
