Parents, If You Lack This Quality, Your Homeschool Is DOOMED

As a homeschooling parent, there is something far more important than how much money you have, how stocked your supply shelves are, or how intelligent you are.

This one quality can be enough to make or break your homeschool. Find out what it is by watching my latest video on YouTube.

I'm Shelly, a Christ-following, homeschooling Mom of eleven children ( okay, not ALL children. My oldest is 23.) I met my husband right after graduation, and we've been together ever since. Though my life can be hectic at times... okay, ALL the time, I wouldn't change it for anything.

  1. Thank you for the simple, yet too often overlooked tip about ourselves as home educators. I still am not confident to a family member when they bring up they’ve “taught for 50 years….. And have such a passion for public education”, even though I know and so grateful for the opportunity, and freedom that were doing the right thing. Thanks again!

  2. Thank you Shelly for the video.
I am growing in my confidence as first year full-time homeschool dad :))
I would like to ask you a question about the type of tests you have used for 3rd, 5th, 8th graders in PA.
How do you high school diploma for your children?
Thanks and God bless you richly.

    1. Hi Alex! We use the untimed, online CAT test, available through Academic Excellence. We use evaluator signed diplomas, as these legally carry equal weight with a standard high school diploma. We have had no issues at all! Also, you can get the CAT test timed, but untimed is so much less stressful for parent and child. 🙂
