Homeschooling is one of those things that at the basic level seems pretty cut and dry but in reality is pretty multifaceted. There are soooo many different angles to take.
Today I decided to share the first 10 things that popped into my mind that every new homeschooler needs to know.
I'm Shelly, a Christ-following, homeschooling Mom of eleven children ( okay, not ALL children. My oldest is 23.) I met my husband right after graduation, and we've been together ever since. Though my life can be hectic at times... okay, ALL the time, I wouldn't change it for anything.

One of my university professors would ONLY have his full hour class last 20 minutes. He would only teach the most important things and would stop at 20 minutes. I probably was the only student who didn’t like this, because I love sitting and learning. Haha! He truly believed, after doing much reading, is that people (including adults!) lose their attention span after 20 minutes. Now as a homeschooler, I agree and approve his statement, finally after 15 days later. Ha! Ha! ~From: Leslie, a Kansan
