This is our last week of our 6-week break, and I’m going to be honest – I have NOT been looking forward to starting back up again like I normally am. Since I didn’t want my kids to sense my lack of enthusiasm, I’ve been racking my brains to figure out what needs to happen.
I think I’ve got it – a newly tweaked routine.

What’s in My ELEVEN Kids’ Christmas Stockings??
As a mom of 11, I need to find ways to keep our Christmas stockings extremely frugal. For us, dollar stores are the way to go! Although four of our children are actually now adults, since the ones who have moved out still come over every Christmas morning, they ALL get a stocking.
Here’s what’s in them!
Ready to Stop Homeschooling? Stop! Let’s Talk.
I did something a little different and scheduled a video premiere set for 12pm ET today! This way, we can watch the video together live, and we can interact in the chat.
I hope to see some of you there!
Homeschooling 101 | Are You Teaching Science or Scientism?
As #homeschooling parents, we have the advantage of teaching our children how to weigh evidence and seek out both sides of an issue – something not really offered in a public school environment. Now, more than ever, we’re faced with the indoctrination of the populace by a group of technocrats who believe more in agenda than truth.
Are you teaching your kids the difference?
What If the Problem Was School in the First Place?
We are going through a period of time in which record numbers of people are choosing to #homeschool their kids. While there are a myriad of reasons, one of the most common is that school just wasn’t working. That is the reason I’m addressing today, because if there’s one thing that you SHOULDN’T do in those cases, it’s to try to bring school home along with your children.
Don’t Let Technocracy Ruin Your Homeschool
We live in a world that seems to value a piece of paper more than hands-on experience. Today’s video is just some encouragement for #homeschooling parents: society’s definition of “expert” doesn’t mean what they think it means.
Will School Play a Role in the One World Religion?
Over the weekend I wasn’t feeling well, so I had the occasion to watch a series of videos on The Sharpening Report with Josh Peck and Tim Alberino. Wow, did they get me thinking. Although I have certainly explored many areas in which the school system has (negatively) influenced our society, I never even considered this very important question: will school play a role in the coming of the one world religion? If you ask me, the answer is YES.
My Kids Spill the Beans on Homeschooling!
Today’s video is just a fun little interview I had with my four youngest children about #homeschooling. If you have any questions you’d like me to ask them in a more detailed future interview, you can leave a comment here!
Pros and Cons of Homeschool Record Keeping
#Homeschool record keeping – It’s one of those things that some states require while others don’t. With that being said, there are lots of #homeschooling families who keep records not because they need to but because they WANT to. If you’re undecided (and aren’t otherwise required), here are some pros and cons I’ve discovered.
Governor Wants School Students to Inform on Their Parents
I don’t know how many times I’m going to find confirmation of our spiral into a dystopian reality. I wish for once I would be wrong. Alas, it won’t be this time. You see, now the VT governor wants schools to help students tattle on their parents. Can you say 1984??
