We just had our homeschool evaluations yesterday, so now I’m ready to start thinking about next year (okay…next MONTH). I decided to change up my homeschool planner this year from the generic composition book I usually use to something more interesting – a homeschool planning notebook. While I was ordering the notebook, I saw these cute timeline notebooks recommended, and the rest is history!
My New SCHOOLNEST Homeschool Planning and Timeline Notebooks

Hi Shelly! I’m a fellow homeschool mom and I’ve been watching your videos & find them very fascinating. You’ve inspired me to do some of my own research about questionable structures & narratives in my own town, Parkersburg, WV & other towns in the surrounding area. I thought you may be interested in looking into Moundsville Penitentiary and the old Weston Lunatic Asylum which goes by the Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum now. To tie into Moundsville Penitentiary you should also look into the history of Parkersburg High School, which is said to be built by the same architect as the Moundsville Penitentiary. However, when you research Moundsville Penitentiary, it says they don’t know who built it and the plans were lost. So, I’m not sure why Parkersburg High School says it was built from the same blueprints and architect. In short, it is my belief that these structures were already standing and when they came into use, they purchased the land, and built onto them and did further construction to them. But in no way do I believe they built these buildings by scratch in such a short period of time, especially the lunatic asylum, which is known to be one of the largest in the world. I don’t make videos or post blogs, so I thought I’d let you have a go at them if you are interested. Here are some websites about these:
