Remember What I Said About Preschool?

I’ve discussed the topic of preschool off on and for at least six years now (starting with my blog). Every day we see propaganda for universal pre-k and early childhood education everywhere we turn, but is it REALLY good for children? According to this study, the answer is just what I suspected.

I'm Shelly, a Christ-following, homeschooling Mom of eleven children ( okay, not ALL children. My oldest is 23.) I met my husband right after graduation, and we've been together ever since. Though my life can be hectic at times... okay, ALL the time, I wouldn't change it for anything.

  1. I found something that may interest you. I believe there to be a hidden message behind what is being said. There is a books called “The Seven Lamps of Architecture by John Ruskin, that I happened (really happened… I was looking in to John Bunyan’s works actually) to come across. He (Ruskin) seems to have a love for the arts and goes into great details on the architecture of the time. I have long wanted to follow you on your rabbit trails; however, I was under a “time” of my own where I was ill and could barely walk and since have been healed by the grace of God. I know that there is a season for all things, at that time I wasn’t in the place to follow along as I was striving just to be patient through a physically trying time. I came across pages 168 and 169 and knew that you would greatly appreciate what was said there. Here is the link to the archive. Maybe you will be able to see between the lines. I have yet to really get to dive into it. May God bless you through all your journey and keep you on his path for you, may he give you eyes to see and ears to hear what he is saying. Thank you again so much!!! Keep up the good work!
