On Being a Truther Homeschool Mom

I must really enjoy going against the grain because not only am I a #homeschool mom, I’m a truther, as well. Waking up to the realities of our world has made me all the more thankful for #homeschooling, but I’ll tell you what – it can be tricky figuring out how to address certain topics. Here’s how I do it.

I'm Shelly, a Christ-following, homeschooling Mom of eleven children ( okay, not ALL children. My oldest is 23.) I met my husband right after graduation, and we've been together ever since. Though my life can be hectic at times... okay, ALL the time, I wouldn't change it for anything.

  1. I loved The Tripods series and began reading all of his books which I posted about on my blog here . I agree that we should teach our kids what the rest of the world believes so they are able to relate to other kids and also be able to argue better for their own beliefs. Great post. I’m finally finished homeschooling . I see that my kids are very different in some ways from public schooled kids, more able to think for themselves, but they do have trouble finding likeminded friends . I trust that they will eventually find their tribe.
