One of my favorite things to talk about when it comes to #homeschooling is how to simplify it. Today I’m tackling a subject area I haven’t spoken about much before – #geography.
It doesn’t have to be all labeling and memorization. In fact, I’ve found that it’s easy and fun to incorporate without needing a curriculum for it at all.
Although any subject can be easily covered with relaxed homeschooling, my absolute favorites to approach in this manner are social studies (history, geography, civics, etc.) and science.
Today on my channel, I shared how we tackle social studies with ZERO textbooks. Let me tell you, when I was in school, I HATED history. Now I’ve realized that it wasn’t the subject. It was the mind-numbing textbooks we had to use.
