Science: Relaxed Homeschooling

Today is my last video in my Relaxed Homeschooling series…for now. Over the past few weeks I’ve shared how we approach language arts, math, and social studies. Today I’m tackling science.

Always remember that your child’s education need not look a thing like school. In fact, we don’t use any textbooks at all to cover social studies or science, the two main subjects that people feel chained to textbooks for.

Using At-Home Water Testing to Show That Science Matters

I live in a house of explorers. Whether my kids are busy digging for worms or searching for fossils, one thing is for sure.

There is no shortage of science in this homeschool.

I’ll admit that I’ve been blessed to have children who are open to making new discoveries, but one thing I really wanted to impress upon them is that while science is fun, it really matters, too.
