Is There a Typical Homeschool Day?

I remember when I started homeschooling. I desperately wanted to see some examples of a typical #homeschool day, but every time I searched, I kept seeing the same thing: THERE IS NO TYPICAL HOMESCHOOL DAY.

I’ll be honest, that discouraged me a little bit. As lovely as blissful, spontaneous days sound, some of us NEED structure – even if it’s only a little bit, and there’s NOTHING wrong with that.

Don’t Underestimate the Importance of a Typical Homeschool Day

One of the things that confused me most as a new homeschooler was when I would hear other homeschoolers say that there was no such thing as a typical homeschool day.

Since they were seasoned and I was not, I often wondered if I was doing something wrong when I discovered that we DID have typical days.

I need your help!

As many of you know, I’m currently writing a book about the practicalities of homeschooling. I am looking for people who are either homeschooling or have homeschooled in the past who would be willing to write an anecdote about what a “typical day” entails at your house. If you are interested, please leave a comment, and I will be happy to get back to you via email. You do not need to leave your email address in the comment. Thank you so much!
